This feature is similar to the \'ticker\' from Facebook. It shows your friend's activity, including favourites, submissions and watchers (the latter two are not shown in the visual suggestion).
The Live Feed is in an artist's message centre. In the visual above, I have made the feed column along the whole right side of the message centre, although I'm not sure if it would be better to make it the size of the deviations part of the message centre.
